History

The Institute of Insight Coaching was founded in 2021 by John Strasser and a group of Master Insight Coaches who recognized the need for an independent institution dedicated to sustaining and expanding Insight Coaching as a profession.IOIC was created to stand beside the Insight Coaching Community (ICC) and other training providers, offering structural support, grant funding, and a collective foundation for long-term growth and ethical development. Since its founding, IOIC has become a central hub for strengthening the global presence of insight-led coaching through collaboration, standards, and accessible pathways.

Grants

The IOIC Grant Program expands access to insight-led coach education by directing donated funds and contributions to the organizations that teach it. Through this support, institutions such as the Insight Coaching Community (ICC) are able to reduce tuition, offer scholarships, and make training more affordable for aspiring coaches.By investing in the providers that uphold and advance Insight Coaching, IOIC ensures that cost is never a barrier to accessing this transformative work and supports the broader growth of the profession.
